Alejandrina Herrera was born and raised in Monterrey Nuevo León, México. She works with pencil, watercolor and different types of collage (from paper to embroidery). The artist creates
nostalgic scenarios that question how life and social relationships have changed as well as living so close with technology. She earned her BFA from Universidad de Monterrey (2009), and attended drawing and sculpture workshops with artist Ramiro Martinez Plasencia and Miriam Medrez. Her work has been shown several times at the Dallas Art Fair, and has also been published in local (La Peste, México) and international magazines (INDIGO, Colombia, Rare Magazine, Australia). She currently lives and works in Monterrey, México.
